2007 O.H.C.C. Banquet/Awards Ceremony

Another great banquet!

Good food... Gary's noodles, Janet's turkey, Darren's strawberry dessert, Nikki's fruit and sugar cookie dessert, the pecan pie and pumpkin roll, meat trays(Ryan Milliken, it was all great.

We voted on:

Slot limits(Ohio Law) - We have been going with the Ohio Law (one flathead per angler 35" or longer/one channel per angler 28" or longer). This law does'nt pertain to the Ohio River. Also, as a club we release all catfish weighed. The majority voted to do away with the slot limits.

Fish Off - In the past, the fish-off has always been held on Friday and Saturday Nights. We voted on whether to change it to daytime or keep it like it has been. The majority voted to keep it the same.

Trophies/Plaques were awarded to the tournament winners, anglers of the year(Bink and Janet Fox), Big Fish of the Year(Chad Davis). Special Thanks to all of our sponsors!!!! Ron's Trophies, Precision Machine and manufacturing, Adkins Properties, Vinton Fur, Twin Rivers Marina, Deer Creek Catfish Association, Samson Trucking, Hooked on Catfish, Anderson Heating and Cooling, Dick's Grocery, C&D Construction.

T-shirts were given to Greg and Nikki Adkins for selling the most raffle tickets this year.

Door Prizes and the Raffle were nice. Had a great time fishing with you guys and gals in 2007. I'm looking forward to 2008. Welcome to Steve Searle(Skipper Rods) and Bear, they will be fishing with us in 2008!
